Gazprom Neft and 1C Company are synchronising operations in developing IT solutions for the oil industry, with Gazprom Neft Deputy CEO for Administration Kirill Kravchenko and Boris Nuraliev, President, IC Company, signing a memorandum to that end at this year’s St Petersburg International Economic Forum.
The objective of this cooperation is to bring cutting-edge digital products in corporate IT architecture to the Russian market. Gazprom Neft specialists will be involved in developing software solutions within 1C platform, whose task will be to improve the operational efficiency of business processes. A joint approach to solving the technological problems faced by the oil industry will open up extensive opportunities for creating an ecosystem for preparing proactive import-substituting digital solutions for commercial usage.
Gazprom Neft Deputy CEO for Administration Kirill Kravchenko commented: “Digitalisation changes traditional business models including those in the oil and gas industry. Production management technologies are coming to the fore — as is the data driving the efficiency of all processes. Gazprom Neft has been implementing dozens of digital initiatives in recent years, developing a significant experience we now have, and which we are ready to share with our partners”.
Boris Nuraliev, President, 1C, added: “In the context of the country’s developing digital economy, we are ready to produce new projects based around the 1C system to develop a digital landscape within Russian industry and the energy sector”.
